Neal
Alligood, NCSU Campus Minister Neal has been with CCF since April of 2001. He grew up in Elizabeth City, NC, graduating from Roanoke Bible College in 1998 with a degree in General Ministry. He served on staff at RBC as an Admissions Counselor, Assistant to Vice President of Student Affairs, Athletic Director, and Coach (not all at the same time). An avid sports, fan, Neal enjoys being involved in just about any aspect of sports. (Don’t tell anyone, but he’s actually a Tarheel fan). He likes traveling, and says he counts it a blessing that he has been able to travel with the CCF ministry to places in Haiti and Venezuela on mission trips. Don’t worry about what Neal is thinking. He’ll tell you. Under his leadership, the CCF ministry at NCSU has grown numerically and spiritually.
Connie was an active
part of CCF when she was a student at ECU from 1995 until she graduated
in 2000. She graduated with not only a degree, but with a passion for
ministry and a heart for missions. She has been a part of the CCF staff
for about four years, and during that time, has had opportunities for
both long term and short term mission trips to many places God has called
her, including an eight months trip to Ghana, West Africa. By the way, Connie hates cats, so don’t even think she is going to think your cat is cute. Under her leadership, the women of the ECU ministry have grown stronger and deeper in their walks with the Lord.
Dean is CCF’s newest campus minister, having joined the staff in the summer of 2004. He graduated from Roanoke Bible College in 1999 with a degree in Cross-Cultural Ministry. After graduation from RBC, Dean went to Hope International University to work on a Masters in Intercultural Studies/Urban Ministry. He then went to Wilson, NC to serve as youth minister at Stoneybrook Church of Christ. Dean enjoys playing music and tinkering with electronics. Both of these skills are helpful to a campus minister. In addition, he enjoys wearing funny looking hats, and sometimes that comes in handy, too. He and his wife, Allison, live in Chapel Hill.
Kellar has been with CCF since September of 1998. He is a product of campus ministry, having developed his personal relationship with Christ while he was a part of Student Christian Fellowship at the University of Evansville. He earned a bachelors degree in advertising there, and earned his MDiv in 1998 at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Suzanne, have two wonderful children, Ashleigh and Elijah. Kellar likes to pretend that he is an NFL linebacker, and often “sacks” other staff members at meetings and events. Under his leadership, the CCF ministry at ECU has grown tremendously.
Glen is a product of campus ministry, having become a Christian in college. He was active in CCF at East Carolina University, and completed a one year internship with CCF at UNC at Chapel Hill. He graduated from ECU in 2000 with a Music Education degree, and is currently taking graduate courses through Cincinnati Christian University Glen drives a Ford Focus. Have you ever seen the back seat of a Ford Focus? He can haul a lot of things in that car! A gifted lead worshipper
through teaching and music, Glen is prayerfully using his gifts, so a
generation on the campus of UNC-Wilmington will bring glory to God.
Mike
Wesner, CCF Promoter Mike first joined Campus Christian Fellowship as a student in 1983 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mike met his wife, Sharon, his sophomore year and was student president during his junior and senior years. Mike is our idea guy. The key that wears out first on his keyboard is the backspace key. Any questions? A former active duty naval officer, Mike now teaches officer leadership in the Navy Reserve and works as a Marketing Consultant specializing in business and ministry growth.
Sharon
Wesner, CCF Administrator Sharon graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and was an active part of CCF during her college years. Since then, she completed a Masters degree at the University of New Orleans and has worked in the corporate world. Easily bored, she has been known to offer to close a meeting in prayer at inappropriate times. She has repented of this. Sharon and Mike live in Cary, NC, with their three sons, Stephen, Seth, and Silas.
